I was a political science major and often turn to our founding fathers and other political theorists when analyzing today's news. I am going to avoid standing on my soap box, but in my opinion, an essential construct regarding freedom has been lost or dismissed. Those espousing their inalienable rights overlook this fact:
For every freedom we inherit, we must accept two responsibilities, one to ourself, and one to others.
Exercising each right comes with consequences. They are not absolute. You can quote me on that.
